All workshops and other services provided by Karen Hickland and Science Matters are tailored to meet the needs of each individual client. Not sure what you need or want? Parent Workshops
Feeling a little overwhelmed by the responsibility of teaching science? Gather a few (or more) homeschooling parents and host a workshop to share all manner of activities you can easily bring into your home science lab. The workshop can focus on a single topic that's proving to be a challenge or cover a selection of topics from throughout your curriculum.

Student Workshops
Turn your home or community center into a science lab, complete with guest instructor, that will excite and educate your young scholars. This is a great opportunity to add some variety to your youngster's day and also to learn a few new tricks of your own. You choose the content area, or let me surprise you with some of my favorites.

Curriculum Design
Looking to spice up your curriculum? Provide a list of topics covered in your science curriculum and in return you'll receive a package of labs, activities, and games that can easily be incorporated into your homeschooling to bring about greater interest and excitement, for both students and parents. Try out this service for a single unit that feels a bit drab - you'll be so pleased with the results, you'll soon be ready to revamp the rest of the curriculum.
